VR headsets may help students conquer stage fright
NCT ID NCT07351409
Summary
This study is testing whether adding virtual reality (VR) sessions to standard university counseling helps students manage public speaking anxiety better than counseling alone. 72 students with moderate anxiety will be randomly assigned to receive either standard counseling or counseling plus VR sessions that simulate speaking to an audience. Researchers will measure changes in anxiety levels and physical stress responses to see if the VR approach is more effective.
