Virtual reality games tested to help seniors recover from head trauma

NCT ID NCT06074328

Summary

This study tested whether using a virtual reality (VR) app at home could help improve memory, attention, and thinking skills in adults 65 and older who had a mild traumatic brain injury (like a concussion). Researchers compared a group doing VR cognitive exercises to a control group over 6 weeks to see if the games led to better recovery of brain function.
