Virtual house helps fight OCD in new therapy trial
NCT ID NCT07245134
Summary
This study is testing whether adding virtual reality exposure therapy to standard cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) helps people with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Researchers are comparing three groups: one gets standard CBT plus VR exposure, another gets standard CBT plus VR cognitive training, and a third gets standard CBT alone. The goal is to see if the VR-enhanced approaches help reduce OCD symptoms, anxiety, and depression more effectively.
