First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether virtual reality (VR) can help people with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) face their fears in a safe, controlled environment. 62 inpatients will be randomly assigned to standard therapy plus VR exposure, VR cognitive training, or standard therapy alone. The goal is to see if VR makes it easier to practice and stick with exposure exercises, reducing OCD symptoms and improving daily life.
