VR headset trial aims to zap MS fatigue with light and sound

NCT ID NCT07310862

Summary

This study is testing whether a special light and sound therapy delivered through a virtual reality headset can help reduce the severe fatigue often experienced by people with multiple sclerosis. Thirty participants with moderate to severe MS fatigue will be randomly assigned to receive either the active therapy or a placebo version for four weeks. The main goal is to see if this non-invasive, at-home style treatment is safe, feasible, and can make a meaningful difference in daily fatigue levels.
