Virtual reality headsets used to help young offenders control anger
NCT ID NCT07484919
Summary
This study is testing whether adding virtual reality (VR) to a therapy program helps young people in juvenile facilities reduce aggressive behavior. Researchers will compare a standard 4-session therapy program, the same program enhanced with VR simulations, and usual facility treatment alone. They will measure changes in behavior, anger, and stress hormones to see if VR makes the therapy more effective.
