Virtual reality headsets aim to rebuild lives in addiction treatment
NCT ID NCT06677515
Summary
This study is testing whether a virtual reality (VR) training program can help people in long-term addiction treatment improve their ability to handle daily tasks and social situations. About 102 adults in Norwegian treatment centers will either use the VR program twice a week for five weeks or receive their usual care. Researchers will measure if the VR training helps with practical skills, social participation, resilience, and overall quality of life over six months.
