Can a whiff of nature make you eat less? VR study investigates
NCT ID NCT06662149
Summary
This study aimed to understand if smells in a city environment influence how much people eat. Researchers used virtual reality to simulate an outdoor café for 25 healthy young adults, measuring their food intake and feelings in response to different scents. The goal was to gather knowledge that could one day help design public spaces to encourage healthier eating habits.
