Virtual reality headsets help doctors spot hidden stroke problems

NCT ID NCT05332964

Summary

This study tested whether a virtual reality (VR) headset system could help measure visual attention problems in people who have had a stroke. Researchers compared the VR system's measurements with traditional paper-based tests in 100 stroke patients and 100 healthy adults. The goal was to see if the VR tool could reliably detect and track attention difficulties that often occur after stroke.
