Summary

This study tested whether using simple distraction tools could make insulin injections easier for older adults with type 2 diabetes. Researchers compared virtual reality headsets and stress balls against usual care in 90 patients to see if they reduced pain and anxiety during shots. The goal was to find non-drug methods to improve the experience of this daily treatment.
