First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests whether virtual reality (VR) can help nursing home residents with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease. Instead of using old photos or objects, participants will explore familiar towns and villages through VR to trigger memories. The goal is to reduce behavioral problems like anxiety and depression, and improve their quality of life. About 50 residents will take part in this crossover study.
