NCT ID NCT05036538
Summary
This study is testing if a 30-minute relaxation session using virtual reality and calming sounds before heart surgery can reduce stress and prevent post-operative confusion and memory decline. It will involve 125 patients undergoing elective heart surgery in Germany. Researchers will compare different relaxation methods to see which best lowers stress and protects brain function after the operation.
