Virtual reality goggles tested to ease dental surgery pain
NCT ID NCT06917989
Summary
This study tested whether using virtual reality and relaxation exercises could help people feel better after having their wisdom teeth removed. Researchers compared three groups: one doing relaxation exercises, one using VR plus relaxation, and a standard care group. They measured pain, jaw stiffness, anxiety, and sleep quality to see if these non-drug methods improved recovery.
