Summary

This study tested if a virtual reality (VR) tour could help reduce anxiety in children before surgery. 114 children scheduled for elective surgery used a VR headset to take a simulated tour of the operating room journey. The goal was to see if this realistic preview helped them feel less scared and more cooperative during anesthesia.
