VR headsets and playtime ease Kids' dental shot fears
NCT ID NCT07375056
Summary
This study tested two fun methods to help children feel less scared and experience less pain when getting a numbing shot at the dentist. Researchers compared using virtual reality glasses, a special play session with toy dental tools, and regular care in 66 kids aged 6-9. They measured the children's fear, pain levels, and even their heart rate to see which method worked best.
