Virtual nature goggles aim to soothe exhausted cancer caregivers

NCT ID NCT05909202

Summary

This study is testing whether watching calming nature scenes through a virtual reality (VR) headset can help reduce stress in people caring for a loved one after a bone marrow transplant. Caregivers will use a VR headset daily for four weeks while researchers measure their stress, fatigue, and mood. The goal is to see if this easy, at-home technology can provide meaningful relief during a very challenging time.
