Doctors try VR headsets to fight burnout
NCT ID NCT06246539
Summary
This study is testing whether a 12-week mindfulness program delivered through virtual reality (VR) headsets can help reduce stress, anxiety, and depression in doctors and advanced practice providers. Thirty-two clinicians will be split into two groups, with one group using the VR program first while the other waits. The goal is to see if this convenient, self-guided tool is a practical way to improve mental wellness for busy healthcare workers.
