VR headsets tested to ease pain of HIV medication injections
NCT ID NCT06834113
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to reduce pain from monthly injections of HIV medication. It will test if using a virtual reality headset as a distraction or injecting in a different spot on the buttock helps. About 120 adults with well-controlled HIV will try all four combinations of these methods to see which one hurts the least.
