VR hypnosis trial offers new hope for childhood cancer survivors struggling with sleep

NCT ID NCT07279168

Summary

This study is testing whether a virtual reality (VR) hypnosis program can improve sleep for young people who have survived childhood cancer. Researchers will compare the VR hypnosis to standard talk therapy (CBT-I) and a simple VR relaxation program in 186 participants. The goal is to see if this new technology can be a helpful, accessible tool for managing a common and difficult side effect of cancer survivorship.
