VR game could unlock better hearing for deaf kids in crowded places
NCT ID NCT06040892
Summary
This study is testing a virtual reality (VR) training program designed to help children aged 8-17 who use two cochlear implants. The goal is to improve their ability to figure out where sounds are coming from and understand speech when there is background noise, which are common daily challenges. Kids will play interactive VR games that simulate real-world noisy settings to train their hearing skills.
