Can virtual hands calm real tremors? scientists test VR therapy
NCT ID NCT06393439
Summary
This study is exploring whether seeing virtual hand movements in a virtual reality (VR) headset can affect hand tremors. Researchers are recruiting 48 people, including patients with functional tremor, essential tremor, and healthy volunteers, to perform hand tasks in VR. The goal is to understand how the brain and muscles respond to these virtual movements and if it changes how people perceive their tremor.
