First seen Mar 15, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tested whether using virtual reality (VR) goggles for relaxation could lower stress, anxiety, and fatigue in nurses working in intensive care units (ICUs). Sixty nurses took part, and researchers measured their feelings using standard surveys before and after the VR experience. The goal was to see if a short VR break could help ease the mental and physical strain of a high-pressure job.
