VR glasses could replace sedation pills for dental patients

NCT ID NCT06723158

Summary

This study is testing whether wearing virtual reality (VR) glasses during oral surgery can make the experience better for patients. Researchers want to see if watching relaxing VR videos can lower anxiety and reduce the amount of sedation medication needed. They will compare 80 patients randomly assigned to use either relaxing VR glasses or standard protective glasses.
