Summary

This study is testing whether using virtual reality (VR) goggles during knee or hip replacement surgery can help patients feel less anxious and need less medication. About 50 patients having surgery with regional anesthesia (numbing a large area) will try VR during their procedure. The goal is to see if VR is practical and helpful before doing larger studies to compare it to standard care.
