Can a virtual beach trip wash away your stress?
NCT ID NCT07415239
Summary
This study tested whether a short virtual reality (VR) experience could help people recover from stress faster. Researchers induced stress in 60 healthy workers using a cold-water test, then had half use a calming VR seaside program while the other half read about stress. They measured stress hormones and self-reported feelings to see if VR led to quicker recovery.
