Virtual reality tames teen aggression in new trial

NCT ID NCT07484919

First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding virtual reality (VR) to a standard anger-management program helps young offenders aged 12-18 reduce aggressive behavior more than the program alone or usual care. Participants attend four weekly sessions using VR to practice recognizing emotions and managing conflicts. Researchers will measure changes in aggression, anger, and impulsivity through questionnaires, disciplinary records, and biological samples.
