Virtual reality goggles aim to ease surgery pain without extra drugs

Summary

This study is testing whether using virtual reality (VR) headsets during leg artery surgery can help reduce patients' pain and anxiety. Patients having a minimally invasive procedure under local anesthesia will be randomly assigned to use VR or not. The main goal is to see if the immersive VR experience lowers the maximum pain felt during the operation.
