VR goggles make needle pokes less scary for children
NCT ID NCT07261410
Summary
This study tested whether using virtual reality (VR) goggles could help reduce pain, anxiety, and distress in school-age children getting a blood draw. Researchers compared children using active VR games, passive VR videos, and no VR. The goal was to see if distraction with VR technology makes the needle procedure easier for kids to handle.
