Summary
This study tests whether daily 15-minute virtual reality sessions with calming nature scenes and meditation can prevent delirium in high-risk ICU patients. About 822 adults in the surgical ICU at Cedars-Sinai will either get standard care or standard care plus VR. The goal is to see if this drug-free approach reduces confusion and shortens hospital stays.
