Scientists test VR headsets as a Drug-Free painkiller
NCT ID NCT06214923
Summary
This study is testing if using immersive virtual reality (VR) can help reduce chronic jaw pain. Researchers will compare a real VR experience to a fake one to see if it changes brain activity and helps people tolerate more pain. The goal is to understand if VR could become a safe, non-drug option for pain management.
