Virtual reality goggles aim to ease cancer Patients' Pre-Surgery fears

NCT ID NCT07366515

Summary

This study is testing whether a virtual reality (VR) program can help reduce anxiety in people preparing for cancer surgery. Researchers want to see if patients find the VR experience helpful and easy to use, and if spending more time with it leads to less anxiety on surgery day. They will enroll about 20 adults scheduled for cancer surgery to try the VR program and provide feedback.
