VR headsets help cancer survivors fight 'Chemo Brain' and return to work

NCT ID NCT06267014

Summary

This study tested whether a virtual reality (VR) program could help breast cancer survivors who have memory or concentration problems (often called 'chemo brain') return to or keep their jobs. Twenty-three patients who had finished cancer treatment within the last two years and were planning to work used the VR program for 10-15 minutes once a week for six weeks. The main goal was to see if patients would stick with and complete the VR sessions as part of their usual cognitive rehab.
