VR goggles aim to calm nerves for uncomfortable medical test

NCT ID NCT07277894

Summary

This study is testing if using virtual reality (VR) goggles during a bladder function test can help patients feel less anxious and more comfortable. About 60 adults having the test for the first time will be randomly assigned to either use VR or receive standard care. Researchers will measure anxiety levels, vital signs, and patient satisfaction to see if the VR distraction makes the experience better.
