Virtual reality headsets aim to ease the experience of abortion procedures
NCT ID NCT07288047
Summary
This study is testing whether watching a calming nature video through a virtual reality headset can help reduce pain and anxiety for people having a first-trimester abortion procedure. Researchers will compare the experience of 72 patients who receive standard care plus the VR headset to those who receive standard care alone. The goal is to see if this simple, non-invasive technology can make the procedure more comfortable and improve patient satisfaction.
