First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study explores whether watching virtual reality (VR) scenes that simulate exercise can produce health benefits similar to actual physical activity. Researchers will test this on 48 sedentary adults with prediabetes, measuring changes in blood sugar, blood pressure, and walking endurance. The goal is to see if VR can be a tool to improve health in people who cannot or do not exercise.
