Virtual reality prep cuts knee surgery fear
NCT ID NCT07310303
Summary
This study is testing if a special virtual reality education session before knee replacement surgery can help reduce patients' fear of the operation and their fear of moving afterward. About 48 patients will be randomly assigned to either get this new VR education or the standard verbal instructions. The goal is to see if feeling more prepared leads to less fear and possibly less pain during recovery.
