Summary

This study tests whether immersive virtual reality (VR) can be a safe and practical way to help people with schizophrenia improve their thinking skills, reduce symptoms, and function better in daily life. Forty adults with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder will either receive VR-based cognitive rehabilitation or continue their usual treatment. The goal is to see if VR training is feasible and offers any early benefits for memory, attention, and overall well-being.
