Scientists test VR headset to train your brain away from pain

NCT ID NCT04551092

Summary

This study tested a new system that combines a virtual reality headset with a brainwave-reading headset. The goal was to see if people with chronic back pain could use it safely and if it helped reduce their pain by training their brain's activity. A small group of participants tried about 20 sessions to see if the approach was comfortable and practical.
