Virtual walks and brain zaps tested to ease debilitating spinal cord pain

NCT ID NCT07254767

Summary

This study is testing a new approach to reduce chronic nerve pain in people with spinal cord injuries. Ten participants will try a combination of virtual reality that simulates walking, gentle brain stimulation, and muscle vibration during ten sessions. The main goal is to see if this combination can lower pain intensity and improve daily life, while also checking if it's practical to use in a rehab clinic.
