Video games help kids heal brain injuries
NCT ID NCT04526639
Summary
This study tested whether playing special virtual reality games could help children recover thinking skills after a traumatic brain injury. Researchers worked with 14 children who had recent brain injuries to see if VR training improved their memory, focus, and problem-solving abilities. The goal was to create an engaging rehabilitation tool that children would stick with and that could help them in everyday life.
