First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether playing brain-training games on a virtual reality headset can improve memory, attention, and thinking skills in adults who recently left the intensive care unit (ICU). About 51 participants will be split into three groups: VR games, tablet games, or standard care. They will play for 12 minutes daily for up to a week, and their thinking skills will be tracked for 6 months.
