First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests whether virtual reality brain games can help older adults who survived a stay in the intensive care unit (ICU) and had delirium. About 100 people aged 50 and older will use a VR headset at home to play memory and attention games for 4 weeks. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and can improve thinking skills and mood.
