Can a virtual coach in a headset make your workout better?

NCT ID NCT07384065

Summary

This study tested whether getting feedback from a virtual trainer during a VR workout affects how people feel and how accurately they move. Researchers had 28 healthy adults complete three short VR exercise sessions, each with a different type of feedback from the avatar: none, verbal cues, or a mix of verbal and gesture-based cues. The goal was to understand which type of virtual coaching might best support exercise form and enjoyment.
