First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tested whether using virtual reality (VR) with music during chemotherapy sessions is practical and helpful for breast cancer patients. Sixty patients were offered VR headsets to watch calming videos and listen to music while receiving treatment. The goal was to see if this distraction technique could reduce anxiety, pain, nausea, and improve overall quality of life. Results will guide a larger future study to confirm benefits.
