First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to perform lung cancer surgery for people with early-stage non-small cell lung cancer. Surgeons will use 3D virtual reality models and a special dye to see exactly which part of the lung needs to be removed. The goal is to make the operation more successful and safer, while preserving more healthy lung tissue. About 89 adults will take part in this early-phase trial.
