AI creates custom VR stories to calm kids during hospital stays

Summary

This study tests whether personalized virtual reality stories, created by artificial intelligence, can help children feel less anxious during hospital stays and needle procedures. About 20 English-speaking children admitted for at least 24 hours will try the VR experience. Researchers will interview them afterward to see if they liked it and if it helped them feel better.
