Experimental eye injection aims to halt vision loss in dry AMD

NCT ID NCT06087458

Summary

This early-stage study is testing whether a single injection called VOY-101 can slow the progression of advanced dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a condition that causes gradual central vision loss. Researchers will give increasing doses to 60 participants aged 60+ to check safety and see if it reduces the growth of damaged areas in the retina. The study will also monitor whether the treatment helps preserve vision over time.
