Scientists probe cells to unlock secrets of bleeding disorder
NCT ID NCT07358013
Summary
This study aims to understand how von Willebrand disease (VWD) affects the body's blood vessel cells. Researchers will collect blood samples from 48 people—some with VWD, some with a related acquired condition, and some healthy volunteers—to grow and compare their cells in the lab. By examining these cells, they hope to learn more about what causes this bleeding disorder at a cellular level.
