Scientists test if a quick workout boosts jump power hours later

NCT ID NCT07483931

Summary

This study aimed to see if a short, intense exercise could improve volleyball players' jumping ability several hours later. Researchers compared a specific high-intensity exercise to a standard warm-up in 14 highly trained male players. They measured jump height, muscle stiffness, and skin temperature before the exercise and again 6 and 30 hours later to find out if the effects lasted.
