Summary
This study is testing whether using a new, more detailed system for planning and documenting voice therapy sessions leads to better results for patients with muscle tension dysphonia, a condition that causes hoarseness and voice strain. Researchers will enroll 600 patients across five voice centers and compare outcomes from therapists' first year using the new system to their second year. The goal is to see if the system, which helps therapists think more carefully about their treatment choices, improves how patients' voices sound and feel in daily life.
